Self-expressiveness in Slow Tourism: The Trans-Siberian Railway Travel Experience

The present study proposes the model of self-expressiveness in slow tourism on the example of the Trans-Siberian railway travel. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the process of formation self-expressiveness with the Trans-Siberian railway experience, its relationship with hedonic enjoyment and its impact on tourists’ life satisfaction. The results of surveys involving 210 international tourists who travelled with the Trans-Siberian railway reveal several important theoretical and practical implications.
